If you want to make the most dramatic change possible to the music quality and audio power from your fairing-mounted speakers, then replace the stock units with a set of our high-performance models.

They have been designed specifically for the 1998 – 2005 Harley RoadGlide fairing and feature a waterproof injection molded polycarbonate cone woofer , high-flux strength Neodymium magnet, high efficiency voice coil and a replacement grill set with mounted chrome tweeters.

Spec’d at 8 ohms impedance and 140+ watts power, you will be impressed by the significant improvement in bass response, midrange clarity, audio power and overall fidelity.

Their mounting hole pattern and spade electrical connections are exactly the same as the factory specification, making replacement a snap.

Your satisfaction is guaranteed.

i just installed hogtunes 5 1/4 last week and they sound good, i replaced the mtx that i put in a couple years back. they sounded good for a couple of years and wore out.you dont need to spend a fortune on some high end speakers. your driving outside going 70 mph, you need volume not high defination sound.

you can use a good set of car speakers---less $$$ better sound. I have MbQuart in the fairing not cheap but they are the best speakers made.

They are less expensive than the others for the 5 1/4 size. You can find them and others on eBay.
I jave tried multiple higher end car speakers with no long lasting results. The set that has worked the best so far was a set of Pioneers. They all loose sound quality at close to full volume. This prompted me to try the Hog Tunes. I have about a year on them and now they are crapping out around 2/3 volume. Next will be the Hawg Wired or the MB as you suggested.

Correct andit is hard to find a speaker that will sustain the volume for long periods.

JMJOHN,
What for warranty do your speakers carry?
I saw something that said 140 watts of power, is that peak or continuous?
I'm only driving them with 50 watts but they run at close to max volume all of the time. 80+ mph and I want to hear the radio!

I started with the Hogtunes set-up then switched to Hawg-Wired when I heard them on a RG. HT sounded good but IMO the Hawg Wired are much better. I've got the 2 ch amp and a pair of speaks - awesome sound. Just my Opinion.
