“Best of” is subjective. Now if we are talking best engineered, build quality, power, and handling Harley-Davidson; then the clear winner by a very wide margin is the VRSC. No other HD comes even remotely close the V-Rod when comparing engineering, power, and build. Again, subjective and of course IMHO.

Might try a newer one in a year or so, since I agree that they're what a "Harley" should look like.

If you had a batwing added to your king, wouldn't it be the same? Ever wanted to take a putt with windshield off? Also, (just asking, idk) aren't they both the same frame? Why would you sit "in" one, and "on" the other? Wondering because I'm interested in the "in" feel. tia....

Idk about anyone else but I've test ridden the M8 RKS and the bike felt a lot narrower than the TC powered Kings. It just seems like they changed something and I didn't care for it at all. I wonder if the regular M8 Kings feel this way?

We are talking Roadkings as the best of all time not a discontinued German engineered model that didn't last that long. Lol

Ya know, if all the goodies/upgrades I've put on my 2014 would fit on a new one, I'd consider trading her in maybe. Hmmmm. I've only had the ol' girls over a year, prolly put $1500 more in it.
. Are the bars on the new specials the same as the factory bars were on the 14 and others? They were extremely comfortable, but to me they looked goofy. Had to do hook mini apes. Lol.
Appreciate any thoughts on older vs new. I like the M8 engine, got a 107 softie. Thanz guys!

Love my Road King, it's the best of both worlds! Got to say, what I love most compared to my Ultra, is the handling. Less weight, and not so top heavy.
