Road King Custom Front Brake Noise
I've had my '07 RK Custom for less than a month and within the first 100 miles of riding I got front brake rubbing noise. Talked to other RK owners that I know and they say this is common for the RK. No one mentioned this before I purchased one... So I took the bike to the dealer andwas told the same thing. They said to give it time to break in and it should get better. Is this trully common and is their anything I can do to make go away or at least get better...other than going tofloatingbreak system?
Love the bike hate the noise...
Thanks in advance for your suggestions and comments.

RE: Road King Custom Front Brake Noise
I get brake noise on my 07 RKC also. I only notice it if I pull in the clutch and glide to a long stop and there is someting on the side of the road like trees to reflect the noise. Otherwise I never hear it. Usually the road noise from trafic is much louder and I never notice it. Overall I would not say it is bad, I am pretty much indifferent to it.

Not that it will make you feel better, but I have the noise too. I read recently that the brake pad materials are higher friction/high performance and that the down side is noise is common. I know that more aggressive pads on m Jeeps have made similar noise. They also eat the rotors faster! Price we are going to have to pay I guess.
