Default AIM clutch slave cylinder

Has anyone installed this new AIM slave cylinder on their bike yet? Was considering getting one of these instead of the recall repair. Supposed to reduce pull by 40% and engage a little earlier on release.

I would totally check it out if it was me.

I did not see anything for a 14 bike

Just found this thread. Sounds like this thing is the way to go. A bit pricey fur sure, for what's there but looks like it does exactly what they advertise. Mike

i would still go ahead and do the recall first, then do the light force. you want it on record that you had the recall performed.

I agree with your thinking but hate letting other people work on my bike.

My idea exactly. I put the Oberon levers on as well. The clutch engaged at the end of travel. I tried for some adjustability with them. Apparently, the AIM solution also allows for a "larger" friction zone, as it is moving a shorter distance for the same lever movement. Seems like a win to me.

I've heard HD won't install the AIM for you under the recall. Would seem to me they could if you paid for the AIM, and it was noted on your VIN you went to the aftermarket.

But would this kill the clutch warranty? Perhaps the transmission warranty?

If I go the way of my 09, I'll be messing around with everything soon enough anyway. Even though I say I won't.
