Default Mustang Solo fits with Harley backrest hardware still on there?

I have a chance to pick up a really good condition mustang solo seat, the one that has the backrest built into it? My bike already has the standard Harley Davidson seat that came with my 2009 road king, and has the hardware for the drivers backrest installed on the bike… I’m not home to look at it now, so can you tell me, will the Mustang Solo sit on there with that hardware attached to the bike for the stock seat with backrest? I seem to remember that it is a large chunk of metal underneath the seat, and I wonder if it interferes?

Check their site, the Mustang seat I used to have still fit with it but they sold another very similar seat that did not. So they're aware and likely will state if it fits with OE backrests.
