D&D Fatcats
I have the D&D Fatcat 2-1 exhaust on my 2007 Street Glide. The main clamp for the exhaust pipe will not tighten. I have rigged a fix but the pipe is still loose. D&D suggested rotating the clamp 180 degrees and tightening. This did not work. Anyone else have this problem? Got any suggestions as to what clamp would work better? Thanks to all who respond.

RE: D&D Fatcats
Take the muffler off and use a cut-off wheel to open up the slits just a bit to allow for better compression of the muffler. After that, go to your local hardware store and pick up a t-bar clamp to replace the stock clamp......the t-bar clamps will take a lot more torque and tighten down a lot more.
If that doesn't work.........pick up a welder and lay a bead around the joint.

TWO!!! I thought I made that as clear as possible in the original post. I even apologized for it and explained why. There is no need to be upset over it. You could have moved on if it was that traumatizing for you, but hey, I would have missed your enlightening reply. Thanks!!!
disclaimer: there is no animosity in this post cwilks, just funnin' ya!!!!

The gaps are about 1/2 ". Are you suggesting a slit the size of the dremel cut off wheel or as wide as the slots are now? Thanks for the response!!!!
