Arrow 2015 CVO RG radio problem

Today during my ride my radio started changing from my mp3 to FM and back to mp3. A little later it would also include
AM as well. The radio and speakers are as came on the bike. I'm not sure where to start with this problem Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

The factory radios eventually fail. The circuit boards vibrate apart. There is a sticky at the top of the main page with instructions on checking for trouble codes. But if you keep having problems you have three choices. Buy a used one on the forum for around $150. Have Iron Cross rebuild and upgrade yours for a little over $250. Or buy something like this that works with the hand controls for $299.

I just realized you have a Rushmore bike. The only difference is that Aquatic AV may not work but there are other brands that will

This is most likely not the HU itself. You can try a hard reset but it sounds like left switchpack is bad or going bad, pretty common.

You may be right on track here. I also had some minor problems withe the cruise control. My bike sat for nearly a year in the garage. I may shoot some contact cleaner in there ans see if that helps. Thanks for the info.

Judy and I rode over to Ed Waldens for Biketoberfest. The club drank $500 worth of $2 beer. Yesterday we attended a Funeral for a club member that passed last Friday. Back still hurts like hell but seems to be healing up. The new seat is breaking in nicely. Thanks for the note.

Glad you're doing better. Are you sure the mp3 connection (USB?) isn't intermittent?

I'll check that for sure. Thanks for the suggestion. When I figure this out I'll be back with whatever the fix is. I hate electrical issues.

Just talked to Tony at this link. He said to give my left switch pac a good soaking with contact cleaner and see what the results are. He works on HD radios. I got ths info on the CVO forum. Hope this helps someone else. Now I need to go see if this cures my problem.
