I've got an adkustable backrest on my 08 Ultra. Looks like the rjs shields will fit over the adjustment handle. Can anyone verify?

Thanks
RJ here. Since day one, almost 10 yrs back. Ive been making them so they work with the adjustable back rest latch. And you just heard it from the horse's mouth.

do a search here. You will find that RJs are the way to go. Unlike the others (HD/Kury/Shamrock) they actually work, fit and look great.
The Kuryakyn shields work fine and cost half as much as the RJ's. Have had mine installed for a year now.

Iclick, post back in here in 9 years and let me know if your heat sheilds are still holding up. My prototypes, the original set are almost 10 years old and still look like the day I installed em.

The wife got me the Kury deftlectors and they work great. Her feet are coller now. The bike seems to run coller also. The deflectors seem to actually funnel more air to the rear cylinder.

I rode an 08 loaner this weekend while mine was being worker on. While it was not hot outside, I could feel the difference in heat with them not there.

Hey Zoood,

Thanks for the phone call earlier today. That's what I call great service. I sent an email to RJ's this morning (Sunday), and an hour later he called me with rates to ship to Canada and said they'd ship a set out to me on Tuesday. Now that's what customer service is all about. Thanks very much, i'll send some snowbound pictures once they're installed.

Graeme
