CVO or just trick out the 18 Road Glide Ultra?

I was in the same mind set.
Then I had an epiphany.
I'm gonna keep this bike. I can have, a one of a kind, if I so choose.
I got nothing. I love the control switches that light up at night. To me that"s the most bestest option.
Just ride what ya got.
Wait about four or five more years.Maybe three
Have Fun!

If the CVO is set up exactly like ya want it and you would not change a thing, buy it.as soon as ya start swapping stuff out on it it will lose all value plus those cvo goodies going it the dumpster. Me! I can’t leave anything alone. Never had stock bars or seat worth keeping...leave alone all the comfort and cosmetic stuff. I buy the cheapest used version of the bike I want and make it mine. Maybe costs near CVO money sometimes but It is all mine.

There is no CVO Road Glide Ultra, so you would have to downgrade to the CVO Limited with the butt-ugly bat-wing fairing.
Kinda looks like you're trying to talk yourself into liking your RG fairing to me. I actually like BOTH...how crazy is that.

With either option you are going to take a financial beating when it comes time for your next bike so do what you will enjoy most. If you will love the CVO go for it, if you would rather have a more "one of a kind" bike go for that option. Either way its going to cost big time when the thrill is gone from that motorcycle and you find yourself looking for the next one.
