to bad you arent local, you can go to corbin and they will make you a custom seat, right there while you wait, its the only way to go.

In all honesty, it sounds like you're looking for the stock Electra Glide seat.
I don't think stock EG seat will fit onthe SG.The console on tank is longer on the SG.If you look in H-D parts catalog, lots of seats say "Except for FLHX" because of the longer console.

my buddy took a stock roadglide seat and had the frt section trim down to fit the sg tank filler /the seat is narrow in dr section and wider in pass section ,also a little lower seat height ,looking to find 1 my self on ebay for my 07 sg ,the seat is comfy

He's just jealous...and feeling spurned.

After all...he's still on a Street Glide.

Just curious if anyone has any experience with the Lepera Sorrento. Looks like there may be room to shift back and forth a little. Dunno if it is more narrow than stock though. Speaking of that. What is the width on the stock SG seat???
I know this is 5 months late but I've run a LePera Sorrento on a softail for 12 years. It seems a little hard but once it molds to your ***, you can't beat it for comfort. Been all over the country on that thing. That being said. I'm waiting for a new leather C & C Sport Tour for my FLTR. I went by C & C when I was working in SoCal. Nice guys & excellent seats. Don't let the lower seating position fool you. Hard is good when it comes to long distance riding.

Double decker memory foam mod. http://www.meancitycycles.com/
Ditto - Check out BadX @ Mean City Cycles, he is very good to work with. He is also a sponser here too.

Bob

I could not agree more Allen is EXCELLENT to work with and will mod the seat to meet your needs and very reasonable. Far cheaper to go this route than a new seat.....................

After trying the stock EG seat (horrible) and Badlander (looks good, too damn hard)seat on my FLHT, I finally found a good one in the stock Road Glide seat. Not pillowy but still soft enough so you can slide back onit a bit, in fact the part that curves up you can just sit on that and you have an extra 2 inches of seat room. Only $200(from Chicago HD). Looks good too.

Same problem with my stock seat on the 06 EG. Replaced it with a stock seat for an 06 Road Glide. No problem on any long ride yet.
