Default Old Skool Upgrades??

After I recover from spinal surgery i would like to complete my Old Skool change over. I had my 04 RK Custom repainted with a vintage 2 tone look and added fishtails and custom leather bags. Now I want to do the motor with vintage Panhead covers but want quality not crap that leaks or is a fake cover. I want to do all the covers. Can anyone point me to a company making quality parts?

This is my Dyna Street Bob that I "Old Skooled" to a 1959 FLH. The valve covers are sold by Custom Chrome (original company named Vulcan Engineering) and they replace the stock rocker boxes. They are not as tall as stock Panhead valve covers but if you had room, original Panhead covers will fit right onto the adapters. Replacement gaskets are available if you have a need for them. The generator cover (same manufacturer) is just that, a cover. I had to straighten out the front exhaust down tube so I could tuck it in a far as possible. I painted it to match the engine so it looked like it belonged there. I also attached a Panhead distributor to it for effect. The kick starter (fake) was a bridge too far and I removed it but can be popped back on for pictures or maybe a show in the future.

Why would you put panhead things on a engine that isn't a panhead?

Because I want it to look like a Panhead. I want new technology and ride quality but the styling of the 1950s.

Weird, but whatever. Your bike. As a BMW owner, I always was puzzled by people that would slap //M badges on their 535s.

I have nothing to add in reference to the original post, but I will say, I like the reproduction highlights, that is a very nice looking project
