I'm new to the forum so maybe this has been talked about but I cant find it.. I'm wanting to purchase a heated seat but I'm not sure what needs to be done wiring wise. I have a 2010 electra glide ultra limited. I've seen that models after 2009 dont need additional wiring but I've checked under my seat and I cant figure out where it could plug into. Can anyone help? Thanks!

 

I'm pretty sure I read on HD Forums that Mean City Cycles can make a heated seat for your ride. Give them a call. It's probably just a line to the battery.. My bet is that they can help you if someone here can't.

Most heated seats have a pigtail that plugs directly into the accessory plug that is already there and waiting under your current seat. Probably tucked in with other wiring just behind the tank. The accessory switch on the right side of the dash turns the plug on and off and gives power to the switches that come in the seat.

I have a Mustang and am very happy with it but there are many others.

 

Well that was easy thank you! I found the connector hiding under everything in front of the battery. Now time to choose the seat. Thanks for the help.
