I recently had some work done on my bike to fix a compression problem, I changed the cams, changed the clutch and I added a fuelpak3.
The bike rides fine one day and erratically the next day.

• It seems to stall at 2000 rpm in first gear and then rides normal like it's not getting enough gas all the rest of the gears it rides fine
• Once in a while it stalls at 2000 rpm in all the gears
• It also seems like it shuts off one cylinder because the sound changes
• At a stop light it revved to 2000 rpm for no reason then after a minute or so it revved to 3000 rpm.

I looked on the bike diagnostics and I see error code:
U1097 - Loss of speedometer serial data

Could the loss of the speedometer serial data be causing the issues or is the fl3 faulty?

 

First thing I would try is to hook the bike back up to the original ECM...If that cures it then you know where the problem is.
