I got the extended floor boards with the extendedshifter and extended brake arm from Bubba's Brakes. Moved everything forward about 3 inches. Very nice set up. You could also look into the forward controls.I know these thing move you forward not back but every little inch counts.
At least that is what the wife says

Try the Mustang Vintage seat (solo or dual) with the backrest option bar. You can purchase the bar as a separate item; I remember is costs about $30, and it moves the backrest back about 1" plus to give you more room. I like mine on my 07 Street Glide

I had the Tallboy seat on my 07 RG and it does make a difference. Put a Klock Werks windshield on this spring and needed to get back to stock height. Went with a Mustang Vintage with highway pegs. Both worked for me.

HD makes a Tallboy seat specifically for Ultras it moves the rider back 2" and works with the backrest. C&C seats will make you a seat that moves you down and back up to 2 inches. I trying to decide now myself. I have the Tallboy but prefer a firmer ride.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get farther back on the Harley?
The road glide seat is another option with a ultra. It's a direct bolt on and puts you farther back and down. You might be able to trade with somebody to try it.

I am 6' and I had the same issue. I put on the tall boy seat and the kit that moves the floorboards forward. The seat moves you up and back. I recently installed the standard backrest but I had to make a longer strap to attatch the front of the backrest bracket so that it wouldn't push me forward. The seat and the floorboard mounts gave me a better angle for my knees and more legroom. I have no trouble putting my feet flat on the ground at a stop light.

Default New Ultra Limited with Tallboy seat

I'm 6-5 230 lbs with a 34 inch inseam. I put a tallboy seat on my new limited and it does the job for now. The seat puts you back about 2 inches. It feels better that I thought it would. I'm going to send the stock seat to mean city and get it detailed to my size when I get some spare bones.
