Default Parts required to make Ultra Limited quick disconnect rear trunk

I know there are lighting issues, etc. But I'm sure someone here has the list of parts to make the rear tour pack removable. It's a 2015.

Thanks in advance.

I purchased a 2009 Ultra Classic in March. I added the detatch kit, backrest (and pad), and the in-the-fairing antenna. The detach kit has most everything you need... but you'll have to relocate the antenna if you want FM reception every time you take it on/off. I ended up going with the in-the-fairing antenna and picked up a Y-connector from Amazon (like $4) so I could use both antennas... reception is pretty good... not exceptional, but meets my needs mostly. If you want a passenger backrest for when the tour pack is off... you'll need to pick that up too. All together I think it costed me almost $1,000 for all the parts/kits.

BTW... for my year, there was no kit to extend the tour pack speaker/control wires. I had to extend them myself by splicing/soldering/heat shrinking wire into the harnesses. I'm not sure if this is the case for later years.

Well... that has the detach part figured out... but not so much the reattach. Or riding it without the TP.

But it's an option...

The tag relocation part looks like chit. I want the tag under the tail light. Is there a suggestion for this?

Thanks

That's the one I have. Not a huge fan, but not worth the work to me to change it. You could go with the street glide/road glide taillights/blinkers. It would take care of all the required lighting, although the custom dynamics saddle bag lights help make you much more visible. I just did this on my ultra, the HD in fairing powered antenna is garbage for me. I got better reception with no antenna than I do that one, next time I pull the outer fairing off, I'm going to hook the stock antenna back up.

I use both antennas with this
Y connector Y connector
from Amazon.

I'm 50 miles from Atlanta & Chattanooga... FM reception is not great here. I get fair reception when the TP is off... better with the TP on with external antenna. YMMV

I used that one, but bent it so it lays more along the fender instead of sticking straight up.
