I’ve heard nothing but good feedback on the Recluse clutch. Especially good for those with arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome.
However, I have an acquaintance that had a Pringle shifter installed on his Freewheeler. He has a very screwed up left leg, courtesy of Vietnam. He was never able to get it to work properly. Harley’s are hard to get into neutral, and with the Pringle it was impossible. And he can’t Fred Flintstone it in reverse. He has to use the reverse motor, which requires him to get it into neutral. Then periodically he said it would hit a Gear shift, he claims it was installed, and repeatedly serviced by a reputable Indy. He finally took it off, and says he is better off even with his bum leg.
This experience is not statistically significant, but, even though I know 100s of riders through the PGR. he’s the only person I know that has the Pringel.
I suggest doing more research on it.

Another believer here. I’ve been using a Rekluse on my 2014 Street Glide Special with an S&S 124 for a little over a year now. The Rekluse makes slow speed maneuvering a breeze and really does save your hand from cramping and pain. Great for organized rides. Like someone else mentioned, I’ve gotten it down to the point that I rarely use my Clutch lever any more. You may have to adjust it after a while, but it’s really not difficult and you can do it yourself without being a mechanic. The best part of it is taking off with no clutch and other riders watching you in total amazement. Lol! I can’t tell you how many times riders have walked or pulled up to me and asked me, “how the hell are you doing that”. Lol. Good stuff and Rekluse Customer Service is truly top notch. Good luck with your decision!

False. you still have engine braking. it comes in at like 1500 rpm's anything above that it acts like you normal bike
