Anyone ever have this happen? On a ride today with the cruise set at 70, I went to pass a car and just rolled the throttle with the cruise still on. When I hit 80 the bike went almost wide open, throttle stuck, so I tapped the front brake which kicked the cruise off. Afterward, the cruise wouldn't work. I had to restart the bike and the cruise started working again. Weird....just curious, didn't mean to hijack your thread, sorry.

Electronics are funny that way sometimes, they just do it for no particular reason.
As smart as they are they confused sometimes.
Low fuel light is same.
Can have 1/4 tank fuel left, go into a moderate lean in a curve.
It will come on and stay lit even after fuel level returns to normal.
Turn bike off and then on to reset it.

My cruise control has been erratic since new ('04 RK). Dealer's getting in again next week for continued diagnostic.
