Question whats a good sissor jack to lift my street glide??

I recently bought a hydraulic motorcycle jack and cant get it to work now. It wont hold any weight...So i was thinking about just buying a sissor jack and want something of good quality for a decent price. Any suggestions??

Just a mechanical scissor jack? Don't know of one that would do the trick, but the Craftsman yellow hydraulic motorcycle jack is a great value. My bike is stable enough on it without straps to feel comfortable running the engine.

There are many diehard fans of the J&S jack.

You say scissor jack...how high do you want to get the bike off the ground. Doesn’t you current hydraulic jack have locking tabs to lock it in place, preventing it from going down.

Check the oil in your present jack...if that is not the problem...you can replace just the jack itself for $20-25

Same one I have. I've used it on multiple bikes over the past 10 years and never had an issue. Very easy to used too, just get on your bike and roll it under the side, then work the handle to get it into position.

I also have this jack and it’s worked like a champ for close to 15 years, but it won’t work for changing the fluids on my 18 RGU.
