Do rineharts take time to sound good?
I put slimline duals and a 4" rinehart exhaust on my 2015 flhtk, but its not as deep as i expected. I changed out the baffles for the hi flow baffles as all reviews said they would be much deeper, im not crazy about them either, they just seem louder when riding and not much deeper. Im considering putting the stock baffles back. Im running an fp3 with SE stage 1 filter. Some reviews seem to say that the hi flow baffles will sound good after riding for a while, like 1000 miles... should i keep them on and wait? Will it get better? Opinions, thoughts, experiences?
thx

I have a 18 RGS with the 107,These are Quieter than a Twin Cam,I had a 103 SG With Dresser Duals an Python Boom Cans She Barked pretty good,Before That I had Rinehart True Duals on my 06 SG.I got the 06 with2700 miles an the Rineharts always sounded Good.I put Rinehart SlimLine Duals on my new Bike at 300 miles,Had it Dynoed with a Power Vision an a Big Sucker A/F.It was not that loud Everyone says These New Eng. are quieter they are much less eng. noise.Got about 2500 miles she started getting louder everyone said its getting louder,The bigger baffles come in the slimlines,so maybe they are breaking in got 3400 miles now an it sounds good especially when you get on it an when you let off got that Rinehart Sound Not as loud as my old bike But it Sounds an Runs Good.

i was not impressed with my rinehart duals/4" mufflers on my 08 96ci EG honestly they just didnt sound as good as my last bike 02 RK 88ci that i had rinehart head pipes with crusher slip ons
i swapped to CFR's they sound dam good but they are LOUD with dual head pipes, when i first installed them i told my self i need to find another pair of slip ons that are not as loud but since i put about 500 miles on them and pretty sure they are going to be on for a while

My 14 flhtk has 4" rineharts and cobra duals. Im afraid i dont really get the deeper thing but theyre loud. Ive put about 700 miles on them amd havent noticed an increase in volume. Its not really that i dont get the deeper thing, i just cant hear it. They all sound like harleys to me with different volume levels.

When I first purchased my Rinehart 3.5 true duals for my 09 RK back in 2010, they didn't sound the way I had heard them on another guy's bike, who did have some miles on his bike. After several trips and 20k miles later, I think they sound freakin great now; loud when I'm rolling on it, reasonably quiet to not bother the neighbors when coming home. The guys I ride with say they're loud, and that's fine with me. I say give them a few thousand miles.
