I have 4" Rineharts and a Fuel Moto header on my '15 103" Road Glide.
Nice tone (deeper than some) but not what I'd call loud.
No change in sound over time as Rinehart baffles are not wrapped or packed so there is nothing to "break in".
Been wanting to try the Rinehart performance baffles to see if they are louder, but haven't got around to it.

Even though the sound isn't perfect they are good performing slip ons.

In my opinion:
Rinehart 4"slip ons are very similar sounding to Fuel Moto Dyno-Tuned 4" slip ons.
Not as loud as a Thunderheader, but a similar note, especially when accelerating hard.
Better than a V&H Propipe in every way.

I agree. I don't think the larger pipes sound as good as the previous models.

I took my Rineharts apart, just steel tube louvered baffle no packing. My were purchased new in 2016. So I would say the sound will never change.

Yeah, I think it may be getting a bit better, V&H sent me a custom tune... I'm really looking for more of that chug chug a lug sound harleys are famous for at idle, and something deep and full of bass when riding between 2000 and 3000 rpm. The rineharts are OK, but not perfectly what I'm looking for.

I wonder if there are some mods I can do to the baffles to achieve a deeper tone.

I think my Rineharts have gotten a little louder now that I have 4K miles on them. Still not very loud though.

im pretty sure the rinehart mufflers do not have any packing inside them just baffles, since they dont have any packing to wear out they should not be getting louder?

I put some baffle wrap inside my mufflers with a screen mesh pushing it against the inside of the pipes and slid my baffles through that. The sound is much better now.

I like my 4's over the 3.5's which were higher pitched IMHO.
The 4's seem louder and deeper too as well.
