Default 2018 streetglide special excessive brake dust

900 Miles on bike and rear brakes squeal when applying rear brakes, I tried compressed air to blow out rear caliper as per Harley service tech, rear rim covered in dust and extends on rear fender and rear of bags, my thought was lesser quality pads or much softer compound material is anyone else experience the same results

With that much dust I would wonder if your caliper is draging.

Are you using the front brake? braking should be about 70% front and 30% rear for most stopping.
The front and back pads should be of the same material.
How often do you wash the bike? (I wash mine twice a year)

If it really bothers you,buy a set of Lyndall Z-Plus pads which are dustless. You will find that as you put more miles on your new bike, this excess brake dust will become less.

Pads are semi metallic softer compound not uncommon for break dust was told like mentioned on this thread as they seat less dust, as far as squealing I do use down shift to slow down pads could be glazed might look into different pads next go around, did mention ceramic pads will squeal also
