Default Rear Fender change,

Hello fellow Harley riders, I ride a 2012 Electra Glide Ultra Limited. I'm wanting to improve the lighting and license plate placement [ photo radar and red light cameras are coming back to Vancouver ] on the rear fender of my bike. I'm wanting to put the plate on the tour pack, not on the lower part of the fender, then at the same time, improve the lighting on the back of the bike with LED lighting and the bigger brake light. Am I able to put a Road King fender on the bike without major rejigging the frame. Thanks

Custom dynamics sells a led tailight that will mount above the lightbar in the picture.you drill 1 small hole and its secured by 3m tape.my friend has one and it looks good.a roadking fender will bolt up.make sure it's an 09 and newer fender.

Why would you want to make your plate more visible? I would want it less visible with photo radar and red light cameras. I would put the plate on the mount you still have and take the street glide plate mount off. Tell em, "that's the way it came from the factory".

Don’t run red lights, problem solved. It may just save your life too.

That’s what I want to do. The lower plate has the wiring behind it and would ridiculous. I have been told that the Road King fender doesn’t have that wiring in that spot.

I tend not to run red lights. There are times when you have to, to get out of a dangerous situation sometimes, and then there are times that the sensor doesn’t get activated with a motorcycle sitting in the number one position.
