RE: Now is maybe the time to buy.
Was at Mike's Famous Harley in CT weekend before last. They are still trying to get a couple thousand over list on their new bikes. Of course, we had to give the salesman some shitski. But some people don't shop around, get bent over, and are oblivious to the dealer taking advantage of them. Oh well....

Worth Harley in KC told me that back in February too. What they were telling me 'if I found a better deal' then come back and buy from them and they would give the $500 credit in their store. At the time they were msrp but if I found one under that then that's the deal they would give. Maybe they just weren't advertising that to the media back in Feb. Maybe he saw he wasn't going to make a sale too cause he didn't offer that untill the end of his sales pitch.

While I was working on the fairing bracket yesterday in the garage I heard ads on the radio from 2 different dealerships in the area offering deals on '07's. 2.9% financing and something like the 'best deals ever', I can't remember the wording. I thought it was funny because I don't remember ever hearing HD sales ads on the radio before.

How did they try and bait and switch you?
ORIGINAL: rocksandgiz
Worth harley north in KC tried to bait and switch me. Then when I didn't bite they brought in the sales manager to try. I walked and wouldn't buy from them. Gail's seems cooler, they all want to make as much as you'll pay.
