advanced,auto zone even wal mart carry flexible leds peel and stick the strips where ever you want them run wire back to battery and install a switch and you have lights. in sc we cannot use colors other than orange [marker light] while on the road. any color is fine parked.

Hmmmm...makes me wonder what kind of wax makes the led's reflect the best...oh my so many questions.

Hey, SCGamecock, there are several different kits you can get to light up your engine. If you prefer single-color lights, I would check out our MagicFlex2 kits. If you would like color-changing lights, check out the Magical Wizards kits.

To answer your questions--
(1) The lights can be turned on and off via a remote, or through a hardwired switch. Our CCM-6BT bluetooth remote for our Magical Wizards kits actually has a timer built in, so that the lights will automatically shut off after a set period that you choose.
(2) Our kits are not wired into the harness. They are connected directly to the battery, and will not interfere with your stock wiring.
(3) Our accent lights are backed with 3M adhesive tape, and are usually adhered under the gas tank, underneath the frame, and to the front brake caliper. You can see an installation video below.

It's worth mentioning that we have a lifetime warranty on the LEDs, and a 3-year warranty on the remote. If you have any other questions, just let me know!
