I had a left grip that was spinning. The previous person used Gorilla glue. I had to scrape it off using a utility knife but it worked fine. I put it back on using Gorilla glue, which may sound stupid since it didn't work the last time but Gorilla glue can be finicky as most people use it wrong. You need to WET the inside of the grip first with water.......a step which most people forget but is KEY when using the stuff. Spread a thin layer of the glue over the bar and slip the grip on. You have a few minutes to adjust it how you want which is nice. 4 hours later and it'll be on there like iron and its not going anywhere for a while!

I never use glue when I replace grips, and have never had one come loose. Maybe it has something to do with buying the right grips.

A number of after-market grips done' require glue, Avon among them. For those that do, I've never used anything buy hairspray and never had a problem.

Thank you Riders for the great advice.

I went with the double sided seemed carpet tape and the "stickiest" hair spray on the market.

Seems to have worked - REALLY GOOD.

Thanks again for all the responses......

I've always used rattle can clearcoat. spray it on the bar and the inside of the grip.
