So, you don't ride in the summer?
EITMS is an option. You get to choose.

Being able to switch it on/off on the fly is great. Turn it off. If you get into a situation where it's hot as *****, turn it on.
I keep mine on. However, sometimes when I'm in the city, I really don't want the delayed throttle response. So I cut it off.

Yeah- it won't go into EITMS mode when it gets hot. If that doesn't matter to you, then opt out. But if you don't ride in really hot weather and or large traffic jams, then it likely won't activate for you all that often anyway. Your choice. I leave mine on, and can't say if I've ever noticed it, but the twin cooling might be keeping it cool enough to where it won't activate.

I keep it on on my bike, but the heat and humidity make it kind of a necessity if I don’t want to ride with a pair of hard boiled eggs whenever I’m in traffic.
As to the slight hesitation in throttle response, I treat it just like I treat the auto start/stop in my car - anticipate the green light and just give the throttle a tiny blip and you’re back to normal operation. No hassle at all, IMO.
