It's an invalid question. Amps are a product of demand based on what is consuming power at any given time. Has nothing to do with idle speed vs running rpm's, etc.
Personally, I try to miss them as I want the universe to give me a closed circuit to the next jump-off point with no voids.

think u might mean volts... there can be some variations in regulators and batteries but generally around 14 most of time... mine will run 14 cold idle.. 14.5 at high speed and 12.5 to 13 at hot idle.. my buddies runs constant 14 all the time..check with meter for accuracy but the gauges are close usually
