which Vance & Hines slip-ons?

That's difficult to answer and you're likely to be more confused when you start getting responses because what sounds "aggressive" and has a "good tone" to me might not be a good choice for your ears. Hang out at a dealer for a few hours one weekend and listen at the bikes as they come and go. You might find something other than Vance and Hines that suits your tastes.

As others have mentioned, everyone's definition of "agressive rumble" and "good tone" is a little different. I don't know if your dead set on sticking with V&H but I have Rush Big Louie slip-ons on my 2015 Road King and I find them to be that perfect mix of agressive when I get on the throttle and mellow rumble at idle and when cruising. I'll link a couple of videos that are a very good representation of the sound.
