hey all

looking to replace my front rotors and on a well known auction site can get a pair for less then $130 shipped, has any one used these any problems with them?

 

I’d be worried about cheap knockoffs. Brakes are one area I wouldn’t skimp on, but that’s just me

 

Are you referring to eBay? I purchased a used OEM pair for my beach bike a few months back. Thickness was just under new specs. Think I paid $50 shipped ... no problems to report.

 

Polishing trashes the true & straight finish on a rotor which are precision ground flat, polishing puts a wave pattern on the surface you don't see and there will be high & low spots particularly on the cheap imports . Been down this road.

 

I purchased a set off ebay and they were under min thickness...sent them back and they sent me a second pair they say they checked....still less than min.
I returned them for a refund and purchased new ones

 

Call ***** shiny. He will do an exchange for your current rotors. His prices are reasonable.
