Default Tour pack squeak...

Got a 2018 SGS that I put a detachable tour pack on. The thing squeaks like a ****. Believe it’s coming from the lid. Anyone else have this issue and what’s the fix??

Put a couple of small strips of weatherstripping where the hinges close the tourpak, the foam will stop the squeaking...

Mine squeaks at the latch where the two pins on the lid go into the locking mechanism, found it by putting soap on the pins wish I could find a fix for it

Mine seems to disappear once I touch the latch. I’m gonna try the WD40 and maybe some weather stripping

If the lids are not closed tight they will squeak a lot try adjusting them and check the rubber gasket.

Brand new TP, so I assume gasket is ok. I will try adjusting the latch too. I didn't think it could be adjusted but maybe it can be shifted slightly. Thanks, I will try that too
