Air cleaners for Ultras
#11
I have a 2012 Street Glide with the Screaming Eagle setup! Other people says that there's better setup than the Screaming Eagle. But my thing is, it has a K&N filter just like all the other open Air Cleaners! I guess I need educated on Air Cleaners of why would a $200 AC setup in better than $100 setup if both has the same K&N filter?

That's not a problem with intake; it's a problem with your tune. Call Fuel Moto (if you bought from there) and tell them what you've got. And if you want to change the intake, then by all means, do it! But neither will give you a performance advantage over the other, so buy the one that makes you smile a little more when you look at it.
Full disclosure: I have the SE "Stage 1" on my bike. I like the stock cover look, and I too thought I needed the "extra intake". In hindsight, I think it is absolutely unnecessary, but meh... it sounds cool!

My point is simple - NO MATTER WHICH AIR CLEANER YOU USE, if your EFI is set and running is rich, you need to adjust the tune. A closed-loop EFI doesn't act the same as a vacuum controlled carburetor.
Pick the air cleaner of your choice, have your EFI adjusted, and enjoy!
ETA: I see it's a 2010, so EFI. You replaced the football... many better air cleaners than the football. Your '18 has infinitely more free area than the football had.
Regardless - same statement applies. Pick the one that you think looks cool, get it tuned properly, and ride the **** out of it!
Shiny side up!
