Hey, sorry about that. I thought by your message for sure you had the cartridge type fork.

 

I thought I did too until I got into it. It's a "damper" fork but not a cartridge. So I returned everything to RaceTech today.

 

I'm looking to install my new chrome lowers and upper slider covers soon here but I'm just not sure exactly what is involved with doing so. Anybody have any helpful tips or links to directions ?

 

If you get the new Hot Bike Bagger magazine this month, they tell you exactly how to do it and what special tools you'll need. I did mine last week. It took longer than expected. But I got it done in time to ride Saturday. Look at those new forks sparkle in my sig pic!
