Making my mind up
Looking atjoining"Club X"and buyingmyself a streetglide in vivid black "how did the ford motor company put it, oh yeh thats right you can have any colour you want just as long as its black"
I do however have a few small "and probably stupid" questions.
1) What sort of fuel millage do you fellow streetglider riders get out of your beasts of burden?
2) Is there any problems i should be aware of?
3) Is this behemoth capable of doing town work, which is sometime not avodable?
Any information will be much appreciated.

RE: Making my mind up
well- since just about every other HD on the road is a SG now, and the majority of them are black- youll fit right in.
all of the baggers get pretty much the same mpg's... which is a bit over 40 if my calcualtions are correct. however, that depends on your riding style (throttle).
no problems other than the 07's heat and trans issues (which are less common now).
around town work? well- consider this- i ride a RK police for work, which is mainly 'around town' and its the most agile bike ive ridden (and ive owned ALOT). i never thought anyone would be able to maneuver a bagger this easily. now- it has alot to do with my experience and training- but once you have the skills- touring HD's are very nimble. believe me- ive taken my RKp over just about every terrain i can.... street, gravel, sand, woods, water (yes- almost knee deep in a boat loading ramp in the river)
when you get it- post pics!
