Default Need Help with Garmin Zumo 550

Hi everyone, here is my question. I received a road tech xm radio for fathers day. Then three days later I got a zumo 550. I know this is great but the zumo says it can handle xm radio as well, I am considering to take back the road tech by HD. I am reading that the zumo can play music but can it tie into my system. I have an 06 ultra. I also want to know when the zumo gives you directions does it talk thru your headset or thru its own little speaker. Any thoughts on this. I dont know what to do at this point until I hook up the zumo, I already have the xm radio plugged into my stereo's aux input jack.

The XM 40 antenna plugs into the Zumo mount and then you run a male to male 1/8" (I think this is the right size) from the Zumo mount to the AUX on the HD radio. As long as you're in AUX, you will get the directions from the Zumo and you can play the XM radio (with voice directions over-riding the XM music.

I love the XM add on to the Zumo as it works in my car as well. I have also enabled the Traffic and weather subscription ($3 extra a month) for good traffic alerts here in the DC area.

Hope you enjoy it and its better than HD's as you can use in your car (the Zumo, not HD's radio ;-)
