Do they make a replacement air temp gauge that is digital instead of analog .

 

I can't answer that but what I'd like to have is simply one that I can believe! Mine always seems to be reading 20* warmer than it is - unless it's picking up heat from the motor 😑

Which if that's the case I'm not sure what the point of having an air temp gauge is...🙃

 

glad to know I'm not the only one whose temp gage is off!!! I only use it for reference to know if it's freezing or hot out!!!

 

Dakota Digital offers a replacement.

Switch it out for an oil temp gauge, much more useful than the air temp gauge.

 

I just installed this Dakota Digital gauge last week. I really wanted it for the compass function, the temp is kind of a bonus. Also reads altitude, interesting to note, but not something that matters to me. Works great, I'm very pleased.

 

The gauge on my new bike is the first I have had on any bike that is reasonably accurate, to the point that I feel it is as accurate as any bank temp that I see. Any past bike was correct twice a day whether it was ran that day or not.
