I got my new Lindby Highway bars today and installed them. Boy do they change the look! I got them on E-bay for $203.00 shipping included. Thought I would post a couple pictures.
They look good. I've got lower fairings on my SG so no go here, but I did have them on my Fatboy. Honestly though at 6' I didn't find them very comfortable for resting my feet. They felt very crunched up. I added pegs on the side for some help but that kind of defeated the purpose of the Lindby look.
I am 5'11" and really wouldn't have any other bar. I took and narrowed my brake pedal and put my aft shift lever on the front to open up my floor boards. Now I rest my heel on the front of the floor board with my toe on the Lindby and enjoy the cruising with my feet still close to the brake and shifter. The attached photos show the gear and brakepedal.
Looks good!
I went with the Multibar because of the rounded corners. They are both a comfortable bar. I am short and its perfect for me. My first one they shipped was run over by a UPS fork truck and had to be replaced
Get some foldingpegs for the side and you will not regret it. You then have multiple resting places for those long rides and I do not think it takes much away from the look if you get the right pegs.
