They make a super glue remover, about likeacetone.

Acetone/nailpolish remover...It will take some time but if you work at it it should come off

Oden, I tried all of the methods above, none worked. SIMICHROME polish and a lot of elbow grease on COLD pipes!! People say get the pipes hot, that's crazy! You can't touch hot pipes with anything that isn't going to bond itself to the pipe. Did you get glue on thepipe or heat shield?Let me know how it turns out.

Grab your wife/girlfriend's nail polish remover. It works very well.

I get baked on stuff off of my pipes with a wet rag all the time on hot pipes. Never had anything not come off.
