Default New seat for 2015 Ultra Limited Low

I am looking for seat recommendations. I am 6'4" and need to raise my seating position by maybe as much as 2". What options are out there?

Before anyone asks, yes I made a mistake in buying the low model. It was comfortable at the dealer but now I find my knees are too high, butt is too low and my arms are down and have too much bend. I have already extended the brake pedal and am about to put highway pegs on. I want to raise the seat first before looking at buying taller bars.

Any other suggestions to raise up and stretch out more?

Wade, the Road Zeppelin air Adjustable seat will raise you 1.5 inches higher. It is also the most comfortable Touring seat Harley sells. It is pricey though. You will have to but at an onlie4 dealer that has 20% discount and that brings it back within normal seat cost for a custom seat. It's something to consider at least.

Go to your local H-D dealer and try their demo seats for your bike. Most invariably, they will sit higher than the seat that came with the Ultra Low. People on here like the Hammock seat. That will get you about 2 inches more than the standard seat.

I just purchased a Mustang Extended seat 79006 for my '13 FLHX. I'm 6'3 and this places me behind the tank, but raises me about 1.5". Great seat !

I put a "standard" ultra seat on my low model. Put me exactly where I want to be on the bike. They can usually be had lightly used on the cheap. Just ask around the dealership, local HOG chapter, or online. Note that I am a full 11" shorter than you, so YMMV.

I gotta ask.... Why did you, at 6'-4" tall, buy a low model bike? I can handle a standard height bike and I'm pocket sized.

I'm not Wade, but as I recall, he bought it used and didn't know it was a LOW Model. At least that's what I remember himsaying.

You should check out Mean City Cycles, in Maiden, NC. They are highly regarded, offer numerous options to rework your seat, and can work it to fit you as you would like.

I used them to redo the seat for my '12 Limited. Although their customer service and workmanship are very good, I live in SoCal. By the time I paid for shipping to them, shipping back to me, and then shipping back to them for a change/modification to their original work; I had more money in my modded seat than if I had purchased a second premium seat. Plus, I only had one seat instead of two....

I liked everything about dealing with them except for the final cost. Since you're much closer, your shipping would be much less than mine! For all I know, you may be close enough to drop off your seat and save shipping.... then it would be truly affordable.

Good luck...

Wade is about 50 miles from them. Is it possible for a ride-in?

I don't remember ever reading about a ride-in service with MCC..... but then, I'm not close enough for that to be an option, so I may have missed it...
