Road King Tunes

This is what I run. Only I just bought the box and filled it with premium parts. I ordered the box, then went to the HDForums audio section and asked a few questions. I followed the forum members recommendations on amp, head unit, and speakers and I wound up with a simple clip on system the utterly destroys ANYTHING the moco sells. Best of all it clips on and off in seconds.

I have an old box that also makes the radio face UP and I don't like that. I can't see stations, functions, or modes while riding. I recently got caught in a heavy downpour and the box got significant water inside. I took the box apart and let the radio dry out for about 36 hours and it still works, consider myself lucky on that. Have been looking in Google at housings suitable for quads, tractors, and motorcycles that will allow the radio to sit facing me and be more weather-proof than my current setup. I found the speakers useless for anything above in town speeds, 40 mph, but more power might make the usable speed higher. I like HD radio so an automotive radio is about the only choice. After the heavy weather experience, I am thinking about the Jensen JHD910BT with no speakers at all, just helmet speakers. That unit doesn't have HD but is weather resistant. There is also a handle bar mount made just for that radio. If you already have a blue tooth headset, it would be easy to mount and use.
