FLHX luggage rack gear options
Putting out $1K for the King Tourpak is out of the question right now.
I live in the boonies, so getting a good radio reception with an aftermarket antenna has been unsucessful.
Question here is I'm thinking of getting the Luggage Rack for detachable Passenger Sissy Bar Upright P/N 53011-98 and buying either a Med-Large Biker's Friend or a Leatherlyke Large Cruiser Case w/o Backrest.
I would prefer the Leatherlyke, but don't know if the whip antenna would be in the way, that is why I'm considering the Biker's freind bag.
If anyone has either one of these set ups, can you provide feedback.
Thanks in advance.

RE: FLHX luggage rack gear options
I use bags from SAC. I have acouple of them all made out of leather. I found that the leather holds up better compaired to the fabric type. The sun seams to bleach out the fabric type. Even though I have hard bags on my SG I find myself loading up one of my SAC's and putting it on my bike each time I ride it. Then when I come home I can take the SAC off and put everyting away real easy.

I got an Ultra SAC that is waterproof. Lots of storage, but need more. If I get the "cheapo", will the whip atenna hit it or be in the way. Don't want to go with aftermarket antennas as they have not worked very well.

With my bike going through 3 radios becasue of the skipping/locking CD I went with an XM install. Reception should never be an issue again...
