New battery installed. Nope, same problem. Starter just clicks. Blinks, horn, radio..nothing.

It might be time to have someone with a solid functional understanding of electrical systems and wiring take a look at this.

Without wanting to sound like the I-told-you-so type, I never believed this was battery related because the symptoms didn't point that direction.

The problem probably is simple, but finding it will be a lot easier for someone who understands basic DC theory and has a solid foundation in electrical diagnostics.

You need to be looking at harness connectors, ground points, switches, and if necessary, individual wires for opens and shorts. This can drive professionals nuts, but the uninitiated can wind up with even more problems than they started with.

I think you are correct about your assessment of this situation. I don't have the skill set, or the space to tear it apart.
Thanks for everybody's help and ideas. Time to bring in the pro's

Thanks again

This time, heard a clicking sound coming from the starter, assumed it was the solenoid. Could that be why some things are not working?. Looks like I'll be replacing that real soon
what did the issue end up being from ? I have the same issue now !

Since you replied to a 4 year old thread, I wish you luck in getting an answer. Might be best to start a new thread.
