Default Should I get a NEW STREET GLIDE?

Hey all,

i just sold my 08 Street Bob, was thinking of getting a supermoto, but then i saw a street glide today and it changed my mind. I know absolutely nothing about Street Glides. My question is, are they worth it? should i get a new one?

a bunch i've looked at have 35,xxx miles, plus, and they are still going for 15 grand? crazy. Then i stopped by a dealer today and they have 3K off a brand new one. comes with the warranty and all. id rather not get a new one, its just crazy expensive, but i can if needed.

i need advise on if i should just buy new, keep shopping around till i find a good deal on a used one, and what to stay away from? are they good bikes? i'm 5'8, am i too small for one?

Thanks for all the help everyone

All I can add here is; at 5' 8" you're not too small for one, I think.

If seat height is your concern, a Street Glide is probably lower then a supermoto. So it depends more on the type of riding you for which you intend to use it.

i want to get it for everyday ridding, and far rides. a supremoto isn't that great for long rides.

Saw the new husqvarna 701 and loved it. After riding one I realized I can’t ride that far on it

Good point! I understand those can be ridden on the street, but from my off road background I see the off road aspect more then the street. To me a Husky is an off road scooter and wouldn't be as good on the street as a Street Glide..
