Battery tender is nice to have on the bike. Not only if it sits for a while but when you do have to put a charger on the battery the seat on one of these things is such a pain to get off. With the tender you dont have to take off the seat to charge the battery.

 

The battery in the Ultra has lasted over a year now without nary a inkling of trouble.I have a tender for my Dyna because I don't ride it as much and because the battery died in it a couple of years ago. With the tender on it, the Dyna fires right up - first time, every time..!!

I'm sure that if there was an HD shop in Corning it would be just as pleasant though!
