You're right, there are forums there and elsewhere.
I think the best information can be obtained here.

I do my best to stick with topics that I have a LOT of direct experience with, tends to keep me out of trouble for the most part. I just glide over stuff that doesn't interest me or I really don't know much about, like what's the trick of the week LED headlight replacement, or the most comfortable seat, etc.

Being active on a few other Forums I have noticed that the percentage of folks with ego's to feed, bad attitudes, and the need to degrade others to make themselves feel better is on the rise.......FWIW......Cliff
I do much more reading here than posting.

When I call this out, other members give me a beat down because "hey f*cker, its an M8 bike". OK, fine.

Its a complete mess.
And it's been invaded by trolls. I hate answering one post wonders but I often do - still hoping I help a serious person. And holy crap - some of the topics...geez get a life

And while I'm on the soap box, would it really be so hard for someone to just thank people who help them once in a while ...

This forum is probably more active during the colder months when us northerners bikes are put away and we jump on here just to talk about riding and see pictures of riding. It's summer here, we're all out riding now.

I agree with the trolls but sometimes the answer giving to the troll thread is intresting and informative. I have gotten tons of help on here and I hope I have helped a little too. I try not to be a smart but most of the time. I hope the forum keeps going
