Daves yea for sure, they are a lot of fun,Congratulations on your first Harley, and for what it's worth, when your reading posting's on this forum;you hear much complaining about this problem, and that. Take it from a dude that has owned many. From 74" shovel heads to 80" Evos to the 88 then 96 then 103 twin-cam don't listen, they are really a quality bike built by American's. The 88 twin-cam was the first you didn't have to drop into a lower gear to pass a few car's.

No people are just dumb or don't know anything about Harleys.
You got people will go in touring section and ask about something that every harley has, but they ask a narrow audience.
For your education, sportsers have a different engine, with transmission built in Everything else has the same engine. Some differences in oil pans or tanks.
Take the time to learn about Harleys. Learn the alphabet. Though even Harley seems to have given up to the yuppies and doesn't list it as much.

Ski Doo site didn't have a sense of humor about it. Or countries that have been to the moon, and countries that use metric.
But I do think you are ***** of a country if your government can force you to use system.
It stumps at the auto parts store when I say my truck has a 325.
My mistake. I assumed this place had evo and TC forum like other places. IMO those are better more people see them.
