RE: TOMTOM rider
700 was a bit too much to burn, so I got the Magellan Maestro 3100 for just over 200. I'm still fussing over what is the best place to mount it on the RKC, but I'm honing in on it.
Now I need to find a pair of bifocal sun glasses.
No, I can't hear the voice prompts, but I could plug in an ear bud if I wanted to.
I love the "Home" button.
Really easy to use, even with gloves.
It fits in my shirt pocket so I can bring it to show and tell.
Caution to all of you Freedon Fries loonies, Magellan is a French company.
You have to at least check it out.

I am confused. It looks like the Zumo 550 is about 700 brand new which is close to the same price as using the built in service from Harley??

You can also check the displays on those things, compare your radios display and check out Zumos(or Tomtoms) display. HUGE difference in a readability(unless you have a radio with 3,5" colorscreen, which I doubt...), cause you can´t have a "map" displayed in radioscreen, only some text and arrows pointing turns...Also you get the touchscreen with separate units, with built in version you have to use the radiobuttons(PITA)...Updates for your gps software or maps...I don´t think those will be cheap from your local HDdealer...Or even available as often as from a company that makes gps-devices for a living...

I got a Quest 2 which is what the HD Conquest is, I also uploaded all the HD dealers through my POI loader Get them here!
http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/t...TOPIC_ID=58075So now its the same as the HD conquest but it was $400 cheaper I got it for just under $375 on ebay, NEW, Ive heard things about the quest being really slow etc, I have had no problems I LOVE IT! Just another option, the Zumo does do more! No doubt, but the Quest 2 works good for me
