Default Clank Noise On Throttling

Ok, veteran HD riders, another sound from my 13 Ultra Limited. Upon rocking the throttle, I'm hearing a single "clink" at throttle up. Not every time, though.
Having just come of a gl1800, any strange noises, until I get used to them, is bothersome to me. I've already found peace of mind in the clanking heard when accelerating and decelerating as normal. Any ideas?

My buddy just picked up a used Street Glide with a 110 in it and it’s doing the same thing. Does it when he lightly blips the throttle from idle. Not sure what it is yet so hopefully someone can help out.

He said he isn’t getting any noise at startup like the compensator will make when it’s going bad or the nut has loosened so my first thought was the primary chain slap also.

I'm not experiencing compensator symptoms either. Chain slap sounds to reason. Will slap occur even if the tensioner has enough tension on the bottom?

Roller bearing motors make funny noises. Hate to say this but you need a little more open exhaust..or a BMW, Honda or Yamaha.

Mine does it too, so I'll go out on a limb and say "they all do that".

Don't lose your mind chasing noises on these things. They all have their own personalities. Even a slight temperature change will make the bike clatter and clack more
than it did in the morning. Engine noise, suspension noise, etc.... I forgot how to enjoy the ride for the longest time.

My first HD was a 79 Sporty. For the first month or so owning it I was certain it was going to fly apart every time I rode it because every piece on it rattled or ticked. I had no idea that "They all do that"
