Default Got my torque back

I removed my cat and baffles from my stock exhaust, have a SE air filter and FP3 on my 13 RKC.

Definetely lost low low end power with these cheap mods to lose heat and gain volume so installed the DK Customs W258 Thunder Torque inserts.

My Fp3 was only showing the torque at 72 at higher rpms and now it reads up to 82 at lower rpms. The Fp3 may not be truly accurate but the seat of the pants seems to support it.

I installed them very close to the end of the pipe as recommended. I added some black washers to center the disc for asthetics. I did not notice a marked decrease in sound volume and stills sounds louder than stock with a good sound.

These obviously only got back what I lost I realize but I lost th heat and have a great sounding bike. You can see the disc but I am okay with the look.

I would post pix but can’t seem to do so from my phone. Good $29 IMO

Can't see the disk blazing down the highway! Good on you.

Enjoy.

I did the same thing on my 14 SGS a couple of years ago and never looked back. Love the sound and it brought the torque back. For the price you can't beat it.
