Just wondering if anyone has recommendations for a comfortable touring seat for rider and passenger that I can use with factory tour pack and factory backrest?

 

H.D. hammock seat for sure. That's how they sold me on tour model (let me take the bike over night), from my Dyna w.g. Go to your local dealer they will let you try it out. You sit a little higher and further forward but with good driver comfort, but your passenger will love it. And yes it will work perfectly with your H.D. tour pack, at least in my case. 2018 street glide

 

Hi from the UK and welcome to HDF. Any touring dual seat for the same model range as your bike should fit. You'll find plenty of threads in here discussing the many options available. If you have a recent model your local dealer should have a number of optional H-D seats you can trial on your own bike.

 

 

H.D. Sundowner is another option that your dealer should have to let you demo. That's what's on my bike in my sig. pic.

 

Seat preference is very subjective. I've owned the Sundowner and the Hammock and hated them both. I also didn't care for Corbin. I've tried that seat twice over the years. The most comfortable seat that I've owned is a Mustang.

I currently am riding on an Ultimate seat and it's okay. Nothing special really, and it is not the Ultimate in motorcycle seats. I think it depends on how your're built.

I need a biggish seat because I'm built like a Gorilla. The Hammock and the Sundowner seemed to create a small pocket for the rider and my nuts were always crushed with those seats.

I think I'll try the Road Zeppelin next. I tested it at the dealer and liked it.

This is only my opinion. It's not science. The factory backrest would work on the Ultimate seat and the Zeppelin off this list.
