Default Goof Off White Walls

I used an aerosol spray Goof-Off to clean my white walls today. Worked really really well. The smell though....made me wonder if this stuff can damage the tire. The label in the can indicated that it would be safe to use. Anyone else use it?

No, but keep us posted. Would love to find something that works and is simple. That damn brake dust on the rear is a real killer.

Depends on which of the Goof Off products you used.

I'm a Simple Green kinda guy with one of my wife's old sponge/scrub pads from the kitchen. Scrubber side on the WWW and sponge on the wheels.

I think I'd be leery about putting anything on my rubber tires that is supposed to dissolve sticker adhesive and gum off of things .

Sorry, used them and they fell apart before I was done. I use a Scotch Brite pad and Blechewhite.

An old mechanic showed me his secret formula with household items. He would spray the white walls or white lettering with Easy Off Oven cleaner, Wait for a few minutes, then hit it with an SOS pad, hose off. Man, that works and doesn't cost much.

I used brake cleaner and scotch brite or magic eraser when I had WWW.
Worked good still had to scrub some. Its best to stay on top of it and not let it get real bad. Never say any bad results bit I always wondered what it was doing to the WWW.
